Primary Care Treatment

Treatment Philosophy- An alternative to alcohol and drug inpatient treatment in a non-institutional setting.

Our comprehensive rehab center uses curriculum-based treatment. We are a 12-step model treatment program, using motivational strategies and other components that are state-of-the-art (best practices) in dealing with alcohol treatment and drug treatment clients. Clients work out of a well-designed workbook, and book written by the Program Director titled 12 Steps Unlocked.  We stress individualized treatment for addicition rehabilitation through individualized treatment planning. Dependency Solutions is an Oregon treatment facility, but clients from other states are welcome. A short shuttle from the Portland airport for a minimal charge is available. Clients receive the most effective treatment for their addiction treatment and alcohol treatment.

Weekday Schedule

We have two separate programs, men's and  women's located  in McMinnville, Oregon.  The houses are gender specific with up to five people per household.  Clients begin their day preparing breakfast. Clients then go to a fitness center, taking part in an individualized scheduled workout. Afterwards, clients go to the treatment center for a scheduled work-study group and to work on assignments from their individualized treatment plan and treatment workbook. They then go back to their recovery home for a break and lunch. At 1:30 clients are taken to the treatment center for a lecture and discussion group. After a brief break, clients participate in group therapy, presenting assignments from the treatment guide and treatment plan given to each client.  Clients taken back to their housing to relax and prepare their evening dinner, clients are then taken to an outside 12-step meeting in the evening.  Returning to their living quarters, quiet time  in effect until lights out at 11pm. A comprehensive alternative for addiction inpatient treatment.

Weekend Schedule

Saturdays include a house meeting with residential peers and then a supervised outside activity in the community, followed by a 12-step meeting in the evening. Sundays are family days, if the client's family is able to visit.  Family counseling sessions are scheduled during visitation. On Sundays clients may engage in free time at the facility and attend an outside 12 step meeting that evening.

Individual Counseling

Clients participate in individual counseling sessions once a week with their primary counselor, reviewing their treatment plan, objectives and goals.

Counselors: Each client works with two counselors, our primary counselors are certified addictions counselors and are in recovery themselves.
